2015 Recreational Fishing Survey

I've heard people are getting survey requests.... The sight list results for 2010 and 2005.... Anyone here get one?

Nope............... I did not, nor do I know of anyone who did.

I don't think they actually surveyed anglers themselves.

I did note that Ontario had only one rep listed in the 2010 and 2005 final documents.... a Helen Ball?

Saw report tht people in other provinces were getting questionnaires in the mail.

In the 2010 document we find these words:

"The survey was a coordinated initiative between Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) and the provincial and territorial recreational fisheries licensing agencies"

Ontario's licensing agency responsibilities and database have been farmed out mostly to a state-side subcontractor. Perhaps that's a start to us being ignored.

.......... so don't count on getting any Ontario Hydro (aka Hydro One)surveys anytime soon............grin
