A true salmonoid monster
I remember learning about this last year:
http://scienceblogs.com/zooillogix/2008/...mon-found/ How would you have reacted if you saw him swimming up to spawn? Hahah I would tell him to turn around and go back to the lake and get bigger, "No dying for you this year!"

Mother of Gawd. That thing is HUGE.
And the mouth seems scary almost...I guess that's how monsters get there name. If I saw that thing I would run for the hills........To get my net. I guess that tops my worm haha  .Great post, Giuga10 |

That salmon is huge! the biggest one ive ever seen was dead in the water at Bronte a few years ago. A big male it was too far gone to even attempt to pick up but guessing by the size of it it was pushing 55-60lbs, i wish i had my camera with me at the time to take a pic of it. I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw it.
