Camping and Backpacking
I had some amazing canoeing trips this summer. 1 to Algonquin and 2 to Killarney.

If you've never tried Killarney before, it and Tobermory are hands down the most beautiful places in Ontario under 5 hrs from Toronto. Must-go destinations for Ontarians.

This is my with my first catch of the 2nd Killarney trip... obviously I'm not clean but I'm very happy LOL also it's not shore fishing... but hey =P that's why it's not under the "reports" section hahah ;-)

Good stuff! ...Funny thing is my parents live like two kilometers from an Algonquin Park entrance and I have never been in there, not to mention I never take my canoe out haha I really should. Looks like a great time.

Not to downplay Algonquin, which is an epic park, but it can't compare to the views and "mountains" of Killarney or the crystal blue waters and steep cliffs of Tobermory!

Jeeze, those are some awesome photos, almost looks like you're in Newfoundland at the Atlantic, I was going to go Quebec, but not now, I am now going to Tobermory this summer.

hahah I've converted somebody. Seriously it really is Ontario's flagship!

it's a long hike along the coast to get to the best cliffs though. We packed a tent and stayed the night at the campground, I think a 4 or 5 k hike in. Definitely manageable.

EDIT: a friend of my sister has a cottage up in Quebec's boonies. Very nice scenery up there as well. Ontario's so flat almost anything is like WOW hahahah ;-)

We started walking around Cyprus lake and stayed at Stormhaven. There are wood flats to pitch your tent on and poles to hang your food at night. It was only for 1 night and 2 half days, but what a memorable hike.

Once you get passed the Grotto on your way to Stormhaven you'll get some majestic cliffs.

Dude... I want that Uh-Oh shirt! On topic, I tend to go 2-3x a year. I tried out Bonnechere Provincial Park, which had good largemouth bass fishing, and Restoule Provincial Park, which had good smallmouth fishing.
