RE: Fishing glasses?
glasses have saved my eyes countless times from hooks...broke a $380 pair of jim maui glasses only to be happy to have my eyes.

that said you do not need $200 or $300 glasses ever...I have owned them and I like my $45 pair of cocoons the best.

under $20 and most likely not enough uv protection or frames that break easily.

$28 - $60 and you should be able to find decent protection and flexible and durable frames.

optim. you should get two sets of glasses...low light levels...polarized yellow.....and bright light levels....grey or green mirror
if you can only afford one pair get amber or brown...well balanced

but as everyone has mentioned....get a pair...save your eyes from sun, branches, lures and hooks.

RE: Fishing glasses?
I have polarized glasses and they really help for sight fishing, if the water is clear enough.

RE: Fishing glasses?
I wouldn't spend much on a pair of sunglasses again. You can spend a couple hundred buck or more for a pair of nice polarized glasses, but I wasn't able to tell much of a difference between them and my cheap $20 glasses. They both take the glare of the water so you have better visibility. I also find with more expensive glasses I am more concerned about loosing them. With my cheapies if I loose them or break them its no big deal and I'll just go and pick up another pair without a second thought.
