GPS Navigator buys my bait
Over the last year I’ve used my GPS navigator a lot more for my fishing trips – even to very familiar places close by……….and back home again as well.
It really does pay off in saving both time and gas. For example - I’d say I’m saving 15 minutes each way to Dunnville from my home in comparison to my old route……… true - there’s a bit more zigging and zagging……… but Hey! - that’s probably close to $8-$10 a round trip in fuel………. and another half hour to spend outside the vehicle………….. Pays for the bait, my Timmy’s coffee, ………..and some of the hardware I lose on the river bottom…..smile. Cheers, OldTimer <>< I once gave up fishing. It was the most terrifying weekend of my life. ><> See you on the river. |
