Heat Stroke - aka Sunstroke
I got severe heat cramps several years ago while fishing in bright, sunny, 100F weather – it wasn’t fun and actually frightened me at the time – I thought I was having a heart attack due to the pain in my arms. What was worse - I lost a day of fishing.
With all this heat we’ve been having – it pays to know the symptoms of heat stroke and how to prevent getting them. http://www.worldfishingnetwork.com/users...40257.aspx This next pdf is an Ontario government handout for workers – but has excellent info within it. gl_heat.pdf (Size: 84.52 KB / Downloads: 43) Cheers, OldTimer <>< I once gave up fishing. It was the most terrifying weekend of my life. ><> See you on the river. |

RE: Heat Stroke - aka Sunstroke
I am lucky enough not to have experienced heat stroke yet, but I know other people who have. It's not pretty.
Be careful out there guys! |
