New to the group
Hey all, I am new to the group. Just started freshwater fishing a couple years ago. Not doing too bad but could always do better. Took my son for his first ice fish today on Lake Scugog. Caught a few little perch. Any tips on where to go ice fishing in the Oshawa or not too far from area would be great! Thanks!

Welcome gojudave77,

Great to hear you're getting into fishing. I don't know how far you're willing to drive but Lake Simcoe is a great lake for ice fishing, I was out today and caught tons of Perch.

Enjoy the forum,

I'm also interested in where I could ice fish near Oshawa... since I'm working around there now. My guess is any local pond would be fishable as long as the ice is safe... they should hold fish.
