OSF Newbie

[Cottagebum]

Hi all! I'm a Brampton based angler, who's been fishing since the age of 2 (30+ years). I found this board during a search for shore fishing locations. I have a cottage near Orillia, but I'm always looking for new spots to wet a line close to home. Shore fishing is something that is relatively new to me (other than steelhead and salmon). It's nice to be able to scratch the itch without driving north to get the boat. I've never been terribly successful fishing from the bank though. Hopefully that will change. I've been lurking around this site for a few days, and from what I'm seeing, there looks to be a ton of info available. Lots of like minded anglers from Peel Region too. Here's hoping that this season will be kind to all of us, tight lines!
