My old man has his sail boat docked in Penetang this year. I have done a small amount of fishing in the area with minimal results. Fom the Marina docks I've seen some huge Muskie and some Bass and Carp, but I can't fish in the marina and info about fish in the area is sketchy.

My other problem is that I will be fishing from a small zodiac that can't handle the open bay chop for any length of time. I hear there is some decent Pickerel in the area but I wouldn't know where to start and have no fish/depth finder.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I've been up there on my uncle's boat... it's gorgeous! I dropped my line in... but that was only for twenty minutes... didn't get a bite. This was when I was 7 or 8 so I don't remember anything else!
