RE: Ultra Light
If you can get a hold of it, I'd recommend the Fenwick HMG 5'6" GM56UL-M-2. This is the rod I use for all panfish and small brookies. It'll bend to the hilt and is too much fun. The only downside is that it has a Tennessee reel seat (two rings) which I don't mind, but I know some people shy away from.

RE: Ultra Light
Bass pro or Sail should have a reasonable selection.
I have a 3 of them: - one 5 1/2 ft for closer range fishing - one 6 1/2 ft for moderate range fishing - one 8 ft for longer range fishing. I love catching small and large fish on them. I found one at wallmart at a good price. If you are not going for utility grade rods you can get them in the $40-60 range. If you go for quality the fenwick is a good recommendation. You may want to apir this with a 500 - 1000 size reel. |

RE: Ultra Light
A good cheap one is the diawa celilo, available on amazon for 30-40$, variety of sizes.

RE: Ultra Light
Sail is a good store. My ultralight set up consists of an Ugly Stik Elite paired with a Sedona 1000. Pretty happy with this set up.
