Northern Bruce Peninsula/Owen Sounds

Hi everyone

Gonna head up to Bruce Peninsula and Owen Sounds in a couple weeks. Maybe pass by Southampton and the Saugeen.

Any suggestions for shore fishing? Should I even bother trying to fish Owen sounds and Bruce Peninsula? I heard the Saugeen is pretty good what lures should I be best off with? I have some rapala jointed, mepps spinners, spoons.

fyi, The channel cats are at the mouth of the Saugeen...I caught a 25 inch cat last week bottom fishing (and also a bullhead). Anglers to both sides of me were catching some nice sheepshead.

I've always want to catch a catfish, I heard they aren't the greatest tasting unless you cook them a certain way, any recipes I can try
