Neat, never heard of Walleye being caught in the harbour... Wonder what the results would be?

the mnr just stocked over 50 K walleye in the toronto harbour and in hamilton harbour just last summer.

with plans for more walleye stocking into the future.

How do we stay informed of MNR stocking locations easily? It seems to me this data is hard to come by. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right spots?

there are general summaries as to the numbers that have been stocked,

but for actual knowledge of stocking locations you would be better to call to your local managment office and ask for further info from their biologists there, in markham our local management is in aurora, very nice people that love the outdoors, they would be willing to help you with your interests in stocking locations and species stocked.

On a side note, Most of our storm water management ponds will be stocked with largemouth bass over this summer..
