Hello, im new to boatless angling, just started fishing two weeks ago, right now im considering myself a pro round goby angler Smile

Just noticing how challenging it is to find good fishing spots for the people who are without boat. So far i've been touring around with my girlfriend and have tried st clair river, grand, and trent. have found the grand the easiest to get nibbles so far. Havn't been able to get any bigger fish, only little ones minnows/panfish/goby.

I purchased one rod/reel, and just purchased another. Have a 6 foot mean green rod with shimano sienna 2500. and the second one is a 7,6 foot heavy rod with a bass pro shop ultimate reel. Liking the second one right now for the distance i can get on a cast. first one seems better suited to the small/clear areas of fishing.
Welcome!

Gobys are a pain! Smile Keep searching and one day you'll find some amazing spots from shore, it just takes some time. What types of fish are you targetting?

Welcome,
Giuga10

Right now , not that sure what im targetting. I have a whole bunch of lures. Just keeping playing with them seeing what i can get. The worms and bobber right now seem to yield the best response.

The Grand River is great.

I want to go to paradise, too, as long as it's not more than 90 min drive from TO. Which part of the Grand River do you recommend?
the area I went to is between Dunville and Port Maitland.
