This is my first time in a lifetime of being out fishing that I've seen a CO in action. And it was the day I forgot my wallet (with my licence) at home on the counter! LOL
I told him all my info and he was able to call in to verify everything.
The dude fishing beside be got a ticket for an expired license.
All these years, finally run into some CO action! =D
Good to see there out and about!!!
I haven't seen any on the softwater yet, but any day now.
Our local MNR are awesome, I look forward to them coming through.
Its always nice to see that there on top of there job... I was also been check last month and was glad to see them waiting in the parking lot... I showed mine but the guys behind us got in sorta trouble for not having a license, plus they have fish with them... I dont know how much they had to pay but Im sure they where not happy..
they drop the stuff in there car and left rightaway.. I think the CO still nice to them not confiscating there fishing equipment
I have had several license checks, mostly over on the islands.
The CO's we have today in this province currently , are for the most part in my experience, both reasonable and dedicated. Most are more than happy to share info on local fishing.
I would imagine its a "tough" job some days. Especially during hunting seasons with a few cletus's running around with loaded weapons.
I tip my hat to them.
Cheers,

they have been out a few times in Windsor so far they even fined a guy for having to many minnows. This fellow was fined 200.00 for more then 120 minnows.

That definitely got me laughing =D
But it's true, not an easy job. Not an easy job.
