Ontario Shore Fishing Forum

Hi!

Just signed up after reading a few posts and discovering that this is a pretty active forum.

I do not have a boat, but rent them with a friend. I would love to learn more about great shore fishing spots (not necessarily specific hotspots...but of course I'm all ears!)...would like to fish without depending on my friend to cover 1/2 the rental costs.

I live in Brampton. I usually fish Cook's Bay or Rice Lake. I also make it out to the Toronto Islands when I can.

I like to target pike, bass and walleye. Going to try Port Credit in the late summer/fall for salmon from shore at dawn (read about it). But usually the first 3 species.

A number of members fish all three locations mentioned. I myself fish Rice the odd time with an old friend and our wives.
