Wow, its been months since I have been on here guys! Hope everyone is doing well and catching fish! Well looking forward to this coming week as I will be heading up to Buckhorn Lake for 5 days of constant fishing! I will be in search of Bass, Crappie and Muskie. Has anyone any advice to give on this body of water? Any techniques you found worked over others? Any particular baits you recommend for any of the three species I just mentioned? Any information that you might be able to share on the body of water itself? From what I have been able to find, the lake itself has a average depth of only 7 feet or so. At its deepest spots its around 40 feet. Seems like there are lots of weeds and great spots for flipping and jigging. Thinking of stocking up on live target baits as those things have produced incredibly for me when it comes to bass. Any of your thoughts and tidbits is always welcome and I MISS YOU GUYS..........lol.

FYI....
Found this great government website that give you a topo view and some information of the lake of your choosing.....

Used to have that site but lost track of it, thanks. It's okay for a few things, but is out of date on others. I often fish George Lake at Killarney PP, and it's a pretty good smallmouth lake. But that sited doesn't even list them as being in there. They were stocked back in the 90s, so they should know by now.
