Hey everyone,

New to OSF - stumbled on this forum while looking for a place to fish around my area for this weekend.

Great stuff! Love how all the information here are current and not outdated.

I've only been to Rice Lake over the past 3-4 years. Seems like it's going downhill, had absolutely no luck last year (even offshore).

Any suggestions for shore fishing this weekend would be great! Trying to get some of my friends into fishing.

Welcome, which area are you in?

I'm from the GTA, and frequently around the Vaughan/Richmond Hill/Markham area

Was first introduced to fishing on Rice Lake by the dam at Hastings about 4 years ago.

Obtained my boating license last year since I was tired of shore fishing and not so great results.

I finally got to go offshore fishing but caught absolutely nothing using a drop shot with a regular strike zone slammer. Yikes!
