Hi OSF Folk!
Per my welcome package, I am starting this Welcome Thread to tell you a bit about myself.
I grew up in Heartlake, and have lived most of my adult life in Brampton.
I'm in my thirties now, and for the last 3 years, my family has taken trips South of Allegheny Park in Pennsylvania to go camping and fishing for a week every summer.
This year was terrible. But when we got back, we started looking around for places to fish in Ontario... bought a couple rods, and started trying to find like-minded people (like OSF folk) to socialize with.
When I was a kid we used to go hiking in lots of Conservation areas, so I know there are lots of them in Southern Ontario. I also used to go fishing with my dad up North, and to be honest I forgot how much I enjoyed it until this year.
So, I'll keep it short and sweet, send me a PM if you feel like chatting about fish. I am an empty bait bucket, waiting for tips and tricks or any fishy things you want to chat about! Okay, that was corny, but don't let that stop you from chatting with me
Oh and the dog in my avatar is our Mini Dachshund. He loves swimming!
Happy Fishing OSF!
