I am taking a light tackle set up, some pike feathers, a couple of jointed plugs and a few dressed mepps aglia size four and five. A non-slip glove, long nose pliers and a folding net. I should be able to get all the lures and shot into a belt bag, but I have a good pack down routine into a smallish back pack, so I might just go with that. (Room for snacks and drinks)

This will most likely be fishing on the move, working our way around a lot of bank space inside the bays in TTP and maybe over at the outer harbour too.

I got a pretty decent bike, but I am not sure how am I going to carry my tacke box!

I have a Plano 6134 pretty much loaded! Undecided

BTW folks, what kind of baits are you carrying on for this exciting day?

I am still a bit confused...

You don't want to overkill, especially when you're biking/hiking. I'm primarily carrying mepps spinners, spoons, and jerkbaits.
Cool idea. I'll have to check my work schedule.
Hi, I'm new to the forum and fishing, but I'm interested in joining. Tried out TTP yesterday and had no luck, but there are definitely fishes in the cells (seen them jumping out of the water)! Hopefully I'll learn a thing or two on how to shoreline fish from you guys. I'll be biking there with a friend, so hope to see you guys there!

Looking forward to seeing everyone out there on Saturday! No rain in the forecast! *knocks on wood* Tongue

I'm going to be in the parking lot at 8am. I'm driving a silver Toyota 4 Runner SUV.

If you would like my number in case you can't find us, feel free to pm me.

I'll be on foot (no bike).
I'm thinking of splitting the day between piking and carping. Walk the cells and bays in the AM with some spinners and spoons, then settle in for a carp session on the open water after lunch.
Somebody remind us to take a group picture Tongue
nice idea!..il remind you Smile

btw ive never been here before...what kinda casting are we looking at here?...distance wise...because i still havent got my spinning rod fixed..and i doubt i will by saturday..il have to bring my baitcaster..my spinning casted further..and if im going to try for some carp as well..i unno how well my baitcast setup will work.
Inside the wetland cells, weedless would be best, lots of reeds, weeds and trees...and you usually see Pike swimming around the shallows about three feet in front of you...lol. If you fish the big cells or western bays you can cast a lure waaaaaay out, but fishing the margins might still be your best bet.
Darn it - I can't make it on Saturday, but will likely be there on Sunday, so please leave me a few carp guys!

Have a great time.
