there are so many salmons in the river that it's very hard to avoid snagging them, that's why I tried to use circle hook to solve this problem. up to now it's very successful as this picture

I use octopus circle hook in size 2# or 4#, use egg loop knot to fix egg sac on the hook. there are a lot of advantages of using circle hook here:
1. it's very strong.
2. you don't need to set hook, so you will not hook on a fish swimming nearby.
3. when the fishes push each other they will not hook themselves as the point of hook points inside.
using circle hooks, you will not have to retie rigs from time to time, actually today I landed 5 fishes but I didn't lose even 1 circle hook.
