So I was doing some shore fishing at professors lake today. I noticed that there were around 10-15 sizeable fish schooled up by the shore right under the surface. They all looked to be at least 2-3 lbs with some that looked at least 6-8lbs. Some looked like carp but others looked like bass. All I know is that no matter what I threw into the water, they would not react at all. I didn't throw any live bait nor did I use bread or corn. Was just testing the waters with lures, crankbaits, and poppers/frogs. Anyone have success fishing there before?

I've had success with the panfish there Smile. I've never had much luck with the carp or bass though and I have fished this lake many times over the past few years. I've definitely seen the carp and bass swimming around but haven't been able to hook them.

The panfish weren't really biting too much on my lures either XD The carp look huge though. They're just swimming by without a care in the world for me or the boats that pass by aha
THere's still fish in this Lake? You mean it hasn't been desecrated like most GTA fishing holes!!! Lol..
There's a lot of fish in the lake. It was a pretty windy day so I don't know if it affected it but there were 15 to 20 good sized fish in the shallows. Occasionally a 8 to 10lb carp would cruise by right at the slope of the rocks. I was fishing from the trail on the left of the rec centre as you're walking in. Opposite end from the beach.
I heard that they stock this lake. Idk, what it is stocked with (i would hope bass) but it may be just some pan fish
Next time bring some senko's and let it drop to the bottom.

They're perfect for sight fishing for bass.
Been to professors lake several times. Got quite sizeable panfishes but no luck for bass. But I felt that there's fish here.
