Hi everyone, I'm new to the community. I used to be an avid fishermen, took a long hiatus from the hobby. Went fishing with my friend for the first time in a very long time and got bit by the fishing bug, unfortunately by then it was already late in the season.
I'm counting down the days until spring, in the mean time I've been perch fishing along the shore line of Barrie, still a lot of action at Centenial Beach. Had my first night fishing experience on the Otonabee River (Pleasant Point Rd) a few weeks ago, the water was calm, not a gust of wind to be had, the moon was out, illuminating the lake, it was one of the most serene experience I've ever had.
I was wondering if there any productive night fishing spots on the west side of Simcoe or Grand River (Guelph area) at this time of the year? Hoping to catch more than just perch.
