Hello Earl here in Elliot Lake, ON. but Im heading down to Ottawa valley for a week in early Sept. My wife will be visiting her very ill sister and spending some time with her in the Pembrooke hospice. Id like to do some shore fishing while in Pembrooke. I will have some hours to kill/spend and Id like a few recommendations on where I can park the truck. I will bring a pair of hip waders. Id like to fish with worms or maybe with a stink bait for either catfish or Carp and as well try for bass. I used to live in Ottawa and I used to fish the area below the rapids at Britannia area and had a lot of fun wading in there and fishing close to night fall.
