I really hadn’t read (or paid attention) much in the last decade or so, on the current ideas/research/findings regarding released fish handling…….. But a recent post on this site got me looking about a bit on the net, just for interest’s sake..

I report that I did learn more than a few new important things – on how I might dramatically increase the chances of a released fish surviving my “catch and release” techniques……… perhaps you may too………..

Hmmm...no mention of the drop kick release then...?
Only if you catch a Canadian Goose.

BTW - if you do hook one - keep your rod tip down...........keep your rod tip down.........etc...
