Now cooler weather so fishing has to be better!!

Anyone know some good spots in eastern Durham Region?
More for trout or bass, not too keen on salmon though I know they are starting their runs.

Rainbow trout would come to the creeks in a few weeks. I did land a brown in upper Wilmot creek last week. As far as i know there is residential brook trout in upper Duffins creek as well as many others http://ontariotroutandsteelhead.com/Onta...Trout.html
For the bass I would appreciate some leads toward where to start scouting myself. I did try Scugog lake this summer without much success.

The mouth of duffins creek and the lower ends of the river are supposed to hold smallmouth, havent been there in a while myself.

How is Frenchmans Bay in the fall...been seen quite a few people bunched up on the piers lately... pike? or Salmon?
