Casino plan blocked, which is probably for the best.

There's a design competition for the land next year, so we probably have 1 or maybe 2 years left where we can fish this area.

Casino presence would most likely have doomed fishing in that locale............. this is good news.......... perhaps it will work out postively for anglers in the long run.... lets hope!

OP management have already said that fishing the north shore will not be allowed once construction starts, which is still hopefully 18 months to 2 years away.
If the design is a boardwalk similar to the harbour, there is unlikely to be any fishing allowed once construction is completed.
