Hey Guys,

Hope everyone is doing well today.

Just have a quick question - Has anyone ever fished "Norton Place Park" in Brampton? Its located around QUEEN and DIXIE.

On the FishTV website (URL:http://fishtv.tv/newsite/fishingfun/urbanfishing.html) it is Spot#22 - says there's BOAT RENTALS available? Any idea what the costs are? I can't seem to find anything online...

Thanks Folks,
Any and ALL information that can be provided - is GREATLY appreciated.

if this is the same Norton Park Place that i went to couple weeks ago, I can say there is no boat rentals there at all (that i saw). Dont even think there is any public washroom. I can tell you there is a LOT of geese and poo all over Smile

Take 410 and exit on Clarks BLVD and make a left. It is opposite the Brampton Transit HQ (opposite the sign Carlton North Park). You park at the baseball diamond field and then walk to the pond which is also lake Ester trail. I didnt fully explore the area, but didnt seem like a big enough pond to have any boats to it.

Didnt see any fish jump, or anyone fishing, but there is a report on another website (forgot where i read it) about bullhead / sunfish and a nice size large mouth caught from there (june of this year). Caught using a worm. I didnt fish there myself yet.
