hahah I've only found 2 places to park free downtown. Nowhere close the there though =P
I went to the fishing and boating show in February and was pretty unimpressed so I'll be skipping this one as well. All of the vendors can't touch Lebaron's prices anyways.
I wouldn't think Lebaron would have good prices, but I was pretty satisfied when I went in there (markham store) for split ring pliers/trebles the other day.

Where do you think's the best shop to buy your lures?
I used to shop at basspro a lot...Lebaron is consistently cheaper.
For example, a pack of senkos are $10.50 I believe at Basspro, they're about $6 at Lebaron.
Also, the baitcaster rod and reel was about $40 cheaper at Lebaron.
They're pretty good there, there isn't as much selection as the huge big box stores (basspro, sail), but the prices don't lie.
Awesome. Great heads up, Bass Pro is too far from me anyways.
$19 for admission is hefty IMO. I checked it out last year with the $5 after 5pm deal and had a good time.

Lebaron should have a No-Tax sale that co-incides with the show. I think Sail is following suit as well. =)
BTW - if you're gonna drive down, be prepared to pay $$ for a parking spot. TTC was a much easier alternative.
Walked down the block from my office and went to the show over lunchtime. Pretty much the same show as out at International centre a few weeks back. I was pleased to see Amundson rods had a booth setup there, as I have been wanting to get a new backpack rod for a while. They wouldn't sell any of the rods on display....? What a waste of time!

I ended up getting a Shimano Exage 8ft Tele from the Le Baron booth. I'll be trying it out this weekend I think, as I am planning on walking the TTP to the lighthouse point and back.
I'm a big fan of telescoping rods, I can easily carry them downtown in my backpack. I have a crappy 5' walmart one right now, but that 8' one looks nice.

In line at Le Baron today somebody mentioned the show. Then I said, yeah and the "$20 admission". Within seconds the show-bashing begin LOL. Nobody was happy with it LOL.

edit: just wanted to ad, after buying tackle from Canadian Tire... i'm really amazed at Le Baron's prices. *thumbs up*
