Zone 20 bass will still be on the nests, so I'm guessing the MNR are wanting to significantly reduce the 2013 bass fry survival level with this change...?

No - I havent got the link to post right now - but I read earlier on thier site that they actually did a study on that area and found the season change would be of no great impact. Perhaps its more of the effects of global warming...............
