If the current weather report holds up, I should be able to make a full sweep of the Islands and spend the day over there on Sunday. If anyone else makes it over, keep an eye out for me and say hi.
I'll be at the mouth of Etobicoke Creek and Humber Bay in my waders and brown bronco hat casting for pike. Say hello.
The forecast has been up and down like a yo-yo temp wise. Hope the sun holds.

Looks like the 9th would be better.
Cloudy will work out better for me pitching a pop up dead bait over on the islands.
I was out at the islands on Sunday, didn't see anyone else fishing.
Its still pretty icy there just now.
Great day tho, good to feel the sun on my neck, and water on my line again.

I was at the eastern gap and the centre island and Hanlans point ferry docks, fishing deeper water. I did see one other fisherman getting off the 11am ferry, but no one else.
Ah,
I was over at 12 till about 5.
Snake island pretty much all day.
Wasn't really in the fishing mood, was more wanting to get time away work. Was a cracking day weather wise.

Front wall of Algonquin Island would probably have been good for Pike on Sunday too, but you need a drop net to haul them up the wall.
I have heard that before, thanks Mike.
I really didn't have much motivation for fishing, but me and a buddy are going to try and get a couple of sessions for pike before the season closes out.
Was thinking Ontario Place and maybe ashbridges (my fav)
It's nice to be back by the water...work has been causing so many headache recently. Ah work, why do I hate you so much.
Was skunked by ice saturday. Humberbay lagoons still mostly frozen over so no pike for me. But the sun was nice.
Plenty of guys angling for rainbows by the mouth. 5 or 6 at least.
Sunday saw at least 15 guys... I think targeting rainbows in Bronte harbour.
