» MuskieBait - 06-07-00:01 -- I wish I can write scientific papers that fast...I would have graduated by now...
» MuskieBait - 06-07-00:00 -- My fingers are tired...my eyes hurt...but at least the report is done...
» MuskieBait - 05-07-20:34 -- Oh, he found it alright...on my Facebook...he wasn't supposed to see the pics in advance Tongue
» OldTimer - 05-07-14:59 -- ........don't look now but I think he's found it...........
» MuskieBait - 05-07-13:11 -- You're so spoiled MA...now where is the fun? Tongue
» mcfly - 04-07-12:55 -- Also, I had some bites in markham earlier yesterday before I caught the one in the report. Unfortunately the location of those carp is in a river with lots of downed trees so landing one would be quite the challenge lol
» mcfly - 04-07-12:49 -- pretty sure all carp drives me to insanity! LOL. But I know some great carp spots in markham where they are in there so thick you can snag them by accident with a mepps (oops, I've done that)
» Giuga10 - 04-07-11:39 -- Warning! Markham Carp will drive you to insanity. It's been 2 years of trying for me and I am yet to catch one.
» mcfly - 04-07-01:29 -- My next target is Markham Carp!
» MichaelAngelo - 04-07-00:27 -- That's some awesome hard work paying off right there. Well done.
» mcfly - 03-07-23:27 -- Finally a carp! Posted as my first report Smile
» OldTimer - 03-07-16:15 -- Take your time.
» OldTimer - 03-07-16:13 -- I prefer to see your (as usual) polished product..... cheers...
» MuskieBait - 03-07-16:09 -- Working on it...gotta put watermarks on a lot of pics...and I'm still running on that island time Tongue
» OldTimer - 03-07-16:04 -- So.............. lookin' forward to the report MB.

» OldTimer - 03-07-15:24 -- Fowl hooking can turn any such fish lost into Fishzilla
» MuskieBait - 03-07-12:44 -- They are all monster if the line snaps or the hook pulls. I thought I hooked into the mother of all fish a couple of day ago...but it only turned out to be a 2-foot wing span Southern Stingray...it took off 150 yards of line in about 30 seconds...and then rocked me...but I managed to get it unsnagged and landed it.
» MichaelAngelo - 03-07-12:35 -- I had my first encounter with a freshwater monster on Sunday. I did not get a glimpse of what was pulling, but I will be back for him soon.
» MuskieBait - 03-07-00:43 -- Just got back...bad tu da bone...u betta belize it!
» mcfly - 03-07-00:34 -- spotted a large freshwater Drum @ Scarborough Bluffs. Never seen that fish before, would love to catch one some day!
» OldTimer - 02-07-16:27 -- Hello MuskieBait........... you out there?.........how was it?
» --G-- - 01-07-00:40 -- Never managed to get a picture sadly. Gonna head back to a great spot I found to try and catch it again.
» MichaelAngelo - 01-07-00:36 -- Congrats G, picture?
» --G-- - 30-06-22:35 -- Personal best pike taken from downtown. Wonderful pike
» mcfly - 29-06-22:38 -- Another day, another few lost carp! Sad
» MichaelAngelo - 29-06-00:34 -- make sure to get a hood that doesn't obscure the top of your eyes... or just wear a hat with it.
» MichaelAngelo - 29-06-00:34 -- mcfly... rain coat = one of the greatest investments I've made... actually it's just the outer shell of my winter jacket.
» MichaelAngelo - 29-06-00:33 -- there goes all the ground we've gained in terms of fishable river levels...
» mcfly - 28-06-21:18 -- rain seems to turn on the fish for me! Only downside is that I dont yet own a proper rain jacket Sad
» OldTimer - 28-06-16:41 -- RAIN!....... big league.............. darn.
» mcfly - 27-06-23:57 -- Spent the last 2 days fishing at Lake Simcoe. Yesterday had trouble as the pier I was fishing was full of local kids and teenagers jumping off and swimming. Though I was still getting bites with kids jumping in the water 4' from me LOL. Today was much more productive and went home with 2 nice eating size bass for the family!
» mcfly - 25-06-09:34 -- I do but I have to upload it! I was using 8lb fireline but when I picked up the net I got a new rod with 20lb braid so I thought I needed a little more heavy duty tackle. Plus I can target pike and musky this season as well! If I get a carp any where close to the one you got this year I'd be ecstatic! lol
» MichaelAngelo - 25-06-00:33 -- Do you still have that video from your last carp?
» MichaelAngelo - 25-06-00:32 -- McFly, sounds like you've found yourself a great carping spot Big Grin What strength line are you running for the carp? Can't wait for your trophy carp shot!
» MichaelAngelo - 25-06-00:31 -- OT, I knew what I was getting into, but the surprise was finding a muskie x northern hybrid that's for sure.
» mcfly - 24-06-22:49 -- Lost a carp today, this time hooked legit. I have trouble landing them in the creeks, when I lift them up the line is too tight and snaps at the leader. Picked up a net though so next time no excuses! Poor fish has a hook stuck in him Sad
» OldTimer - 24-06-05:50 -- Nice musky. Was it a surprise catch? I see that it was dark.
» MichaelAngelo - 24-06-04:45 -- I got a belated birthday present last night... http://i483.photobucket.com/albums/rr193...G_3351.jpg
» mcfly - 22-06-22:17 -- I was at a busy richmond hill spot for opener. Ended up snagging a huge 30"+ carp by accident using a #1 mepps. Biggest fight I've had since 10 years ago salmon run! It took half my spool before I could slow it down! There was a huge crowd watching me, got some video but once I saw it wasn't a fair catch I told them to stop. Brought it to shore, was trying to land it myself without a net but it unhooked itself. Technically a nice catch & release but would have loved a pic! Glad it wasn't that injured though. Good test of my 8lb fireline and 7' medium light rod!
» OldTimer - 22-06-13:55 -- Other than some minor rod damage - Was a good one for me.
» mcfly - 22-06-00:07 -- Happy Bass opener everybody! Can't get to a spot until the afternoon Sad
» MuskieBait - 21-06-13:20 -- T-7 hours...hoping for nice weather Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
» mcfly - 21-06-09:48 -- Rice Lake was a bust! Too weedy for my style of fishing. Got a small walleye though which is always fun. Worst thing about the trip is I forgot sunscreen and today I am burned to a crisp! REMEMBER SUN SCREEN EVERYONE! ...... I'm in pain Sad
» MichaelAngelo - 20-06-22:34 -- Sounds like a worthy endeavour, mcfly! Wish you good luck and calm winds!
» MuskieBait - 20-06-19:18 -- Ha! I don't have a 14/0 Penn and I'm lacking about 3 other people Tongue
» OldTimer - 20-06-15:22 -- Got your war paint ready....... see video: http://teamrebelfishing.com/httpwwwteamr...shoot.html
» Giuga10 - 19-06-21:17 -- Good luck!
