Hey guys
Let's do it again next weekend. I'll be prepared for almost anything including that fish that wanted to attack my shiner....lol. Jeremy, bring your fly rod too and some weighted flies.

I'll keep you informed as I get the details.

I'm jealous.... things are iced over here... some people have started hitting the thicker ice... what a difference a couple of hundred kilometers north makes.

A couple of hundred kilometers? Where are you?

The weather even 10 km away can be very different.

Grubman That sounds like a Great Idea...

I think We should meet at the Second Spot, It Seems there are some better holes there...

We should hit that one hole at first but then travel more up river to one really good hole i saw..

I'd love to come but I don't know if my parents trust me around water after Saturday Tongue. But sounds good I'll see if I can come. If I do I'm definitely gonna dress better and stay OUT of the water Big Grin and I'll bring my fly rod too, I've been wanting to fly fish for trout and this would be my first time!

Actually you can use spinner gear to float fishing, all you need is to set the rig as center pin. a lot of my friends do so and they catch more fishes than the other people as spinner gear has the advantage of casting.
if you bring a fly rod, you'd better prepare an indicator and some wet fly or nymphs. In my opinion actually it's another way of float fishing.

Yeah I might do some spinning and float fishing as well but I like the challenge of getting a fish on the fly, and it also feels more rewarding. I already have my flies, and an indicator is not necessary but I have a couple of those as well and I'll bring them along if I do end up coming Smile.
