I just got this reel (abu 6500 magCS) about a month back.....I was looking like crazy around the GTA for this reel but no one had it! Finally, I just gave up and ordered it from a tackle shop in Colorado. Man this thing is slick. Has anyone ever used these reels. I have read a lot of positive things about them but geez ...........COME ON GTA tackle shops ....... carry more stuff ...loll. Just holding this thing in my hand slurs power and quality....Cannot wait to put it to use.

That's a tank reel, congratulations on finding one. What do you like about the magnetic cast control? I haven't tried it yet.
What are you matching this puppy with and which fish will be on its hitlist?

I have one of the green ambassadour C5 reels. It has the adjustable magnetic cast control too. I didnt notice much (if any) difference.

eh Guys,
I bought it cause it was a very unique finish and rare reel to find. As for the mag control, it is suppose to give extra control sensitivity but I have not used it yet. Truth be told I will most likely use it next year late spring when I go pike and Muskie fishing.
