Fishing at Scugog Lake - Kamilkaze13 - 06-28-2014 06:08 PM

So I'm going to Scugog Lake someday this week. I've never fished in there. I'm doing shore fishing. Is there any good spots? I've got two rods and I was going to use mainly crankbaits. Any lures or bait suggestions? Techniques? Any help would be appreciated.

Check out the Causeway and use worms maybe you'll catch something decent

You can try fishing at the end of Island Rd(highway 7), the name of the road changes as you get closer to the north end of the island.
I fished there a few years ago and there were lots of panfish(mainly sunfish I believe). I would recommend taking worms.

Thanks but the people that we were going with changed their mind. Maybe I'll try from Bronte Harbour in Oakville.
