Rocky bottoms vs silty bottoms - MichaelAngelo - 04-18-2012 10:06 PM

Noticed that a pond near my home has a rocky shoreline that seems to extent outward.

My hunch is that fish (carp specifically) would prefer a silty/sandy bottom as opposed to a rocky bottom. Is this correct?

Carp will go were the food is providing water temperature and O2 levels are good.
