2) Silver Redhorse (Moxostoma anisurum)(lifer) Thames River. Caught Apr. 25[attachment=958]
3) Black Crappie (Pomoxis nigromaculatus)(lifer) Zone 16 river. Caught May 3[attachment=984]
4) Yellow Perch (Perca flavescens) Zone 16 river. Caught May 3[attachment=985]
5) Rock Bass (Ambloplites rupestris) Zone 16 river. Caught May 3[attachment=986]

Yup. Are you familiar with the area? I got a complete but flattened trilobite, a couple of nice blastoids and a bunch of the usual things. I love that place but wish it wasn't so far away.

Only been there once, it's a long drive from Pickering. But that area is legendary for fossils. More variation than the Collingwood area.

Probably more variation than anywhere in the province. Have you ever tried Bowmanville or Brechin?

Not yet. Brechin is a quarry, isn't it? And I'm not familiar with the Bowmanville site. I remember there being a beach area in Cobourg, went there over twenty years ago, can't remember the exact location now.

This doesn't count toward my total, but at the same spot, I caught a couple of male common shiners with full spawning colors and tubercules[attachment=1035]
