There are a few other small species in the same pond and nearby areas- fathead minnow, Iowa darter, johnny darter, bluntnose minnow, blacknose dace and I'm almost certain I saw a couple of sculpin the first time I was there. Time and patience are all I need now.

I have some (Owner "Smallest") and will likely try them out next time I'm at this pond, but the dace and stickleback were both caught on #26 midge hooks with just a speck of worm for enticement.
