Hi there,
I'm looking for good spots to take my daughters fishing on the Ottawa, Miss, or Madawaska.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

In arnprior the best spot is on the Madawaska behind the east side marios at the base of the dam. Very good spot for catfish. Chance for bass, walleye, pike, musky, mooneye.
Two other good spots in the Ottawa area for kids is down lake (plenty of panfish with a chance of bass pike, musky, and pike).
On the rideau the Kars boat launch is good spot, bounce a worm around the boat launch you are bound to catch rockbass, sunfish, bass, perch.... Chance of musky, pike, walleye.
Another good spot if you want to explore is water around Petrie island.
