Hi all,

Well, I havent gone fishing since I was a kid when I would water the lawns and pick my own worms (I had a bit of a tomboy streak)....that is until my boyfriend bought me a rod this year and I'm definitely hooked again...pun intended Wink

I didnt realize how tough it is to find shore fishing spots! I don't remember it being so difficult as a kid to fish from shore and when we've ventured to a couple of my old stomping grounds that I fished at with my dad, fishing from shore is either no longer allowed or its soooo crowded!

So, who can recommend a good spot that isnt overly weedy? If I bump into you there, I'll gladly pay you with a nice cold "beverage" or two! Big Grin

Welcome!
A common spot people fish in your area is the mouth of the Rouge @Port Union/Lawrence. It's probably mainly coarse fish but there should be something to pull your line there.
