Hello OSF,
I'm George from the Mount Hope area near Hamilton.
When I was young I did a lot of fishing with my Dad, mostly for smallmouth bass using bait in Muskoka. Gave it up entirely for many years - we are now approaching retirement - got new equipment for Christmas from the family - hoping to learn more and try some of those lures.
Looks like there is lots to read here.

Being based in Mount Hope you have quick access to the Grand River
