Hi - CeeDee - 02-18-2017 03:56 PM Hi I'm new here and to fishing as well - just last summer I tried it with my brother and our uncle at Sturgeon Lake. Caught a few bass and perch and really see the attraction in doing this even though they were not very big. My brother cleaned them but I cooked them all too. Good food. I have my own rod and reel now. Want to do lots more and catch a big muskee. Caitlin RE: Hi - OldTimer - 02-18-2017 04:10 PM Hello Caitlin, Welcome to the OSF forum. Well if you want to catch a muskie............ Sturgeon Lake is a great place to try - has a relatively large population of them as I've seen .......... Rapala or Rebel minnow baits or such trolled just outside the weed line break in about 14'-20' has seemed to work for me the best. I'll look forward to your reports and posts. Cheers, OldTimer |
