What are your thoughts on the SHIMANO Baitrunner reels?
I was thinking of setting this up on a 8 to 9 foot rod with 10 pound test line

I have seen them in the stores and I like the looks of them. I have heard people say they were out quick with constant and heavy use. A sturgeon guide says he only gets one season out of them. Then again he is fishing every day for big fish.

I should also say that as entry into the baitrunner market I got an Okuma reel that I have been happy with. Believe it or not I found an English model carp bait runner on Kijiji a couple of years ago at a reasonable price. Large though, my biggest reel, the retrieve speed is awesome
