Hi all, Just joined OSF to see if I could learn many things about a sport I haven’t done in over 40 years. Recently purchased a RV and thought it might be nice to get back into fishing. Haven’t done much since used to head north, with my father, to Lavigne / French River area for long May weekend as a teenager. Now retired and 60. So remember very little and basically starting all over. Located in London area and need to find out what is around here and what is best bait to catch it with.

Hi Bill,

Welcome to OSF.

It's never too late to get into (or back into) the excellent sport of fishing.

There are a few posts here from London area members.

I do believe the Thames can provide you a start, and a casting practice spot.

Start simple with live worms........read a bunch......... enjoy.

Cheers,

OldTimer
