Hello All,
I am new to OSF but definitely not new to shore fishing.
I grew up in Kansas and moved to Ottawa Area (Stittsville) about 14 years ago now but because I didn't grow up here I have struggled to find good shore fishing spots and find that so hard to believe because of all the water around this area that you can't catch fish without a boat which I have had so many people tell me already.
I am a father of a 7 year old boy so my number one fishing goal is to spend time with him and get him hooked on fishing and as many of you may know that is hard to do unless you are catching something. He doesn't even care if they are 2 inch sunfish as long as it is something.
I am here to find and provide some advice and find some fishing buddies.
