Hey,
I've been fishing since I was a kid with my dad forever, I have recently got back into it.....and actually been at it all summer.
Here's the thing... I haven't caught anything and I made a bet with a friend I would catch the first fish. Luckily he hasn't caught anything either.... goby's and sunfish dont count it has to be a good one.
I use a simple simple set up... bobber and worm but I have a ton of lures.
My question is where is a really amazing spot to fish...I am from Hamilton and will drive a max of 45 mins.... let me know would love to get out there today and win this bet!

Welcome to the forum. Since you're right there, I would recommend Bayfront Park. I've caught smallmouth there and I've heard of drum there as well as the odd walleye. Plenty of carp too. Keep any worms off the bottom or you'll get nothing but gobies.
