This is not great news, to say the least.

But not surprising.........sadly.

They forgot that fish can be introduced in new locations by birds of prey dropping their still alive catch.

Yes I agree. Too much focus and emphasis on this electric barrier alone. The approach is myopic. There are a dozen other vectors at least. I will propose some are human caused.
