I'd change the hooks on any cheap or knockoff baits you have...also, they probably don't "run" right.
Even good quality expense lures are occasionally not tuned correctly. You'll notice it on your ret... |

Suffix 832 has extra strands and is supposed to be a bit "rounder". I find it's slightly smoother on the cast and drag system. Can't go wrong with either once you make the switch to braid. |

I used to shop at basspro a lot...Lebaron is consistently cheaper.
For example, a pack of senkos are $10.50 I believe at Basspro, they're about $6 at Lebaron.

I stick with Powerpro for my light setups, Suffix 832 (amazing) for medium or heavy rod, and if I need leaders I go with the 50yd spools of Rapala Flourocarbon. |

I went to the fishing and boating show in February and was pretty unimpressed so I'll be skipping this one as well. All of the vendors can't touch Lebaron's prices anyways. |
