Suffix 832 has extra strands and is supposed to be a bit "rounder". I find it's slightly smoother on the cast and drag system. Can't go wrong with either once you make the switch to braid.

I've caught pike at night, and I find they generally turn on right as it gets dark. So I don't know about the "pike don't feed at night" theory.

I stick with Powerpro for my light setups, Suffix 832 (amazing) for medium or heavy rod, and if I need leaders I go with the 50yd spools of Rapala Flourocarbon.

I went to the fishing and boating show in February and was pretty unimpressed so I'll be skipping this one as well. All of the vendors can't touch Lebaron's prices anyways.
