You can fish for carp at this time of the year? I mean, I know they are open season year round, but can you actually catch anything in March?

Way too cold for me haha. Brazilian boy can't handle the cold :P I would though if I knew of a nice spot to fish from shore. I live in Brampton, willing to travel up to 45 minutes for a nice pike.

Cool. I should get me one of those. But I think it would be too much gear to carry around... I already get annoyed with having to carry my rod and bag with fishing supplies, and my lunchbox...

Now that is interesting.... maybe something in the water (temperature, colour, oxygen levels, etc) confused their timing into thinking it is spawning time?
