Welcome! A common spot people fish in your area is the mouth of the Rouge @Port Union/Lawrence. It's probably mainly coarse fish but there should be something to pull your line there.

I have very few of these ponds in my city but in general for ponds, your best bet to check if there are any fish is a small piece of worm on a small hook(~size 8) under a float.

At Humber Bay East Park, there were a lot of bluegill last year in the landlocked pond. I've never caught anything in the pond with the floating bridge but there are videos online of fish caught there...
