The whirlpool it one of my favourite places to fish. I am fat and out of shape and the hike down is killer but it is an awesome experience for sure! The power of the water down there is breathtaking!

Must haves? Rod, reel, line, knife, small tackle bag with species specific tackle. In all my years of shore fishing I have never found myself wishing i had a net.

One easy way to tell the difference is that the sots on a pike are lighter than the rest of the body. On a musky the spots or bars are darker than the rest of the body.

I was fishing last year in a river. I was using top water for bass. I group of ducks swim over my line and got it tangled in on one of the ducks feet. I reeled him in and untangled him from the line....
