Must haves? Rod, reel, line, knife, small tackle bag with species specific tackle. In all my years of shore fishing I have never found myself wishing i had a net. |

One easy way to tell the difference is that the sots on a pike are lighter than the rest of the body. On a musky the spots or bars are darker than the rest of the body. |
